The Pangkor Island trip that evaded me......
The first CRS68 reunion after leaving school for more than 38 years was held on April Fool's day in 2007 - fourteen were in attendance, some unsure if it was a fool's trick! It marked a new beginning for a group of classmates who can now add to their group of social networks - mainly to get together once in a while to enjoy the group's company and some social interactions, entertainment activities or exchanging views on current affairs, knowledge or even networking. Let's keep up the spirit of comradeship!

++++++++++++++ response to your feedback +++++++++++
30th October 2012
Dear ALL:
Thank you for all those positive feedbacks – they mean a lot
to me. And special thanks to Leo Leslie Armstrong AMW, PJK for originating the
idea of a blog site.
Frankly, I cannot pull this off without the willingness of everyone’s
involvement (or participation). Previously, as I pondered the approaching
twilight years, my thoughts raced back to those years gone by to reflect on moments of happiness. That’s when fond
memories of old buddies came flooding
back. So I thought to myself... something has to be done. I must admit that it was quite a daunting
task, then, to trace the first group of buddies – after more than 38 years! For
David Lim it was about 40 years since we last heard from each other. I guess,
the gruelling X-country training meant that I would have developed persistence and stamina that were much
needed to complete the challenge successfully.
These re-union events
will, I hope, rekindle comradeship and
perhaps provide us with sanity as we march on into our twilight years.
For the next event I hope that we can look forward to welcoming more newcomers and to grow our "family". And as Roland Low aptly put it - "We hope to expand the numbers
with each gathering".
Best regards,
Danny Hew
